About the author
Nedim Šabić was born on 1984 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He lived in a small city called Gornji Vakuf and he was enjoying a wonderful childhood until it was interrupted by the war in 1992. The country went through complete destruction and devastation, and even 23 years after, the wounds of the war can't be healed. In the year 2000, Nedim and his family decided to move to Spain, and once again they had to go through another sacrifice, cultural and social change.
Nedim has always showed passion for computers, and at the age of 17 he started to write his first applications in Visual Basic 6. After finishing the highschool, he thought it would be a good idea to have an IT degree on the Polytechnic University of Valencia. It took him a few years to complete the degree.
He is senior software engineer, devops enthusiast and platform architect who is also very curious about OS design, internals and implementation. Falling in love with Rust, Go and idiomatic sugars of Ruby, although he is more experienced in Python, J2EE platform and Spring framework ecosystem for development of distributed and event processing solutions. He never stops learning, and at the moment he is reading a lot about Big data, virtualization and cloud technologies.
Nowdays he is working and living in Valencia with his extraordinary wife, daughter and cat Yuna.
